Dr. Nadim I. Maluf (MS'85 EE) is CEO of Qnovo Corporation, with over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in high-tech companies targeting electronic and photonic products for the life sciences, industrial, semiconductor, scientific and telecom industries. He previously served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of LumaSense Technologies, Inc. Maluf joined New Focus Inc. in 2000 as the Senior Director of Advanced Technology and was appointed Vice President, Photonics Tools and Instruments Product Group in 2002. He also served on the senior management team at GE Novasenso. From 1995 until he joined New Focus, Maluf was the Manager/Director of Advanced Technologies at Lucas NovaSensor. He has also been a consulting professor of electrical engineering at Stanford University since March 1995. Dr. Maluf received his BE degree from American University of Beirut, his MS from Caltech, and his PhD from Stanford University, all in electrical engineering.
